Mark Jones is DPO and Operational Excellence at UCB.  Passionate about Research & Early Development of New Medicines as much as Data Protection & Privacy of Health Data. Mark Jones truly thinks there are many benefits for a Pharma to complying with data protection laws. 

Antonis is the Executive Director, Head of Global E&C Data Privacy & Group DPO at Astellas Pharma Inc. He is based in Greece and is fascinated topics everything related to Legal, Ethics & Compliance. For him, Privacy is a productive challenge that he takes great pleasure in meeting.

Experienced lawyer and leader of public policy projects in the European Commission, Mr. Paul Nemitz has been a leader in the GDPR launch as well as in other agreements and CoC. He is now recognized as the Principal Adviser on the Digital Transition in DG Justice and Consumers.

Barbara is the Senior Global Privacy Director & EU DPO for IQVIA, based in Spain. She oversees European data protection compliance and strategy, drawing on over 16 years of experience in global privacy. Barbara also contributed as a privacy researcher for the University of Toronto and served as in-house counsel in Toronto and London.

Isabelle Roccia, CIPP/E, is the Managing Director IAPP Europe. She leads the IAPP’s growing Brussels office and engages with senior industry leaders, policymakers, regulators and civil society. She serves as the public voice for the IAPP across Europe and is highly passionate by Data Privacy and Cybersecurity.

Claire is a Member of the Paris & Brussels Bars, IAPP and AFCDP, counting more than 14 years of experience addressing complex privacy issues. She is now working as the Legal Program Director, EMEA Data Strategy & Privacy at Medtronic, since almost 4 years.

Erik Boucher de Crèvecoeur is an information technology expert at the CNIL, the French Data Protection Authority. With nearly 30 years of experience in software development, quality & security management, he is currently involved in the compliance checking of personal data processing for the French Health Sector, subject to authorization by the CNIL.

Victoria is the VP of Privacy & Global DPO for Premier Research, in the UK. She is responsible for overseeing Premier Research’s global Data Protection Strategy and implementation to ensure compliance. She is also a key contributor and lead editor to the European CRO Federation (EUCROF) initiative to draft a GDPR Code of Conduct for the clinical research industry.

Martin Krauss counts over 20 years experience in the area of Clinical and Epidemiological studies. He founded FGK Clinical Research GmbH 22 years ago. As the Managing Director, he is very interested in Data Protection & Privacy of their Clinical Data. He is convinced that a good management of health personal data can help build trust within patients, partners and clients.

Dr Lastic has nearly 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. He is now the Vice-President of the French Union of Data Protection Officers and Secretary General of the European Federation of Data Protection Officers. He leads the Health Data Working Group of EFDPO.

As a Professional Member of the British Computer Society with a PhD in Medical Informatics, Nathan has over 20 years experience in software engineering & digital interventions in the Healthcare, Innovation & Research fields. He focus on Privacy Regulations with the goal to enhance Innovation and improve the Healthcare Industry.

Sofia is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Research Foundation Flanders FWO & the Healthcare AI Policy and Compliance Officer at The European Institute for Innovation Through Health Data. She is passionate about AI in Healthcare, Patients rights & Medical Devices.

Olivier Breillacq is the Director & Founder of Octopize, a startup specialized in data anonymization. He believes that the GDPR is not a constraint but an opportunity to use “data ethically” and move towards a radical change in data governance for the benefit of all, with respect for everyone. Octopize is known for its unique technology for anonymizing personal data: Avatar.

Yoanni Th. MATSAKIS is the founder & CEO of Telemedicine Technologies, a company specialized in e-health and IT solutions for clinical trials. Yoanni is member of the executive board of AFCROs and of EUCROF. He leads different EUCROF international task forces such as the CRO CoC one or the project xShare (EHDS).

Avery is based in the United Stated and recently joined MyData-TRUST. Previously, he served in a variety of in-house Legal and Privacy roles in the Clinical Trials, Life Sciences and Healthcare sectors where he built and led Global Privacy Programs for multinational organizations.
